I am an East Coast girl; having grown up near Long Island Sound, I love water. My father taught me to love nature and the outdoors. We would go bird watching or fishing together in the early morning. From there it was a small step to see that all this beauty must have a Creator. In college I discovered that God is real and have been following Him ever since. I’ve been married for over 20 years to a great guy and I’m a mom to two wonderful daughters. I enjoy working at Adventures In Missions helping people to follow their calling. I love reading, photography and cats.
I’ve lived in New York, California, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and now Georgia! I lived on a sailboat for about a year. My first job out of college was as an auto mechanic rebuilding engines [they were simpler back then]. Then I worked in the office of a custom yacht builder. I worked for a large YMCA for about five years as a Fitness Director in charge of programs, facilities, and staff. After we had kids, I stayed home for twelve years and enjoyed being a mom and homeschooling my kids and helping my husband with youth ministry. I’ve been working at AIM since February 2005. My husband has worked for AIM since November 2000. We’ve been on a number of trips with AIM. My favorite place to go is Mexico – I have a heart for the people there.
